The sale will take place at Oakland Cemetery on Saturday\, September 28 with a special members-only presale on Friday\, September 27. \n  \nReserve Your Spot \nSo that customers don’t have to wait in long lines\, we have implemented a ticketing system to reserve a time slot. The reservation time slots on Saturday\, September 28 are \n\n9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.\n10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\n\nThe plant sale will be open to the public\, no reservations required\, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.. Offer excludes tax). \nArrive five to ten minutes early so that you can check in and queue before your time slot begins. Signs will indicate where to line up. \n\nThe attendant will allow you to enter when the previous group has completed shopping.\nA holding area will be available where you may gather your plants before checking out.\nEach plant will have a colored stake in the pot that corresponds to a sale price. Simply pull the colored stakes and take them to the cashier when you check out.\nWe will have multiple cashiers and contactless card readers. Please pay with a card or your phone for this sale. NO CASH.\nAll plants are first-come\, first served.\n\nYou are welcome to drive up to pick up your purchases. Please follow the signs.  We ask that you load your purchases as efficiently as possible to allow other customers to drive up. \n  \nBecome a member and get a free plant! \nMemberships will be available for purchase\, renewal\, or upgrade at both the Member Presale on Friday and at the Plant Sale on Saturday. Anyone who renews\, joins or upgrades their membership will receive an additional ticket for $10 off their purchase! \n  \nWhat if I can’t attend during my time slot? \nEach shopper may reserve one time slot and will have 90 minutes to shop. Those arriving late will have the remainder of their time slot to shop. Shoppers without reservations may shop from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. If you make a reservation and do not attend the sale at all\, we will consider the cost of your reservation a donation to Historic Oakland Foundation. \nWhat if the Fall Plant Sale is rained out? \nIf the Fall Plant Sale is rained out\, we will reschedule the sale for Saturday\, October 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Members\, check your email in the event that Friday’s presale is rained out). Join one of our knowledgeable and entertaining guides for a 90-minute walking tour through Atlanta’s past and present. \nThis tour starts at the main gate (main entrance at Oakland Avenue and MLK Jr. Drive). Please arrive a few minutes early to check in inside the Visitor Center (located just outside the main gate). Parking is limited – Marta (King Memorial station is three blocks north of the gate) and rideshare are encouraged. \nSpaces are limited – we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. \nHistoric Oakland Foundation Members \nHistoric Oakland Foundation memberships include free tickets for Sights\, Symbols\, and Stories tour.
