Nightfall Chronicles is a sunset tour series featuring Oakland’s popular walking tours, History, Mystery & Mayhem.
With more than 70,000 souls interred in its hallowed grounds, it’s no mystery that Oakland Cemetery has its share of the surreal. Hear the stories that defy explanation, from mysterious murders to tragic events that have passed into local legend.
About your Tour
Nightfall tours begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Bell Tower located inside Oakland Cemetery. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the tour time. Your tour includes a complimentary wine or beer. The bar opens when check-in begins and closes at tour time.
Parking
Paid parking is available in the Oakland lot at 342 MLK Dr. Free street parking may be available nearby. MARTA’s King Memorial station is a five minute walk to Oakland.
Accessibility
Not all areas of Historic Oakland Cemetery are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you need an accessible route when purchasing your ticket.
ASL interpreter available if given 3 days (72 hours) notice before the start of the tour.
